R/ Project Manager for the H3Africa Coordinating Centre
Explain your current research/work (in simple English)
R/ A Coordinate activities of the coordinating centre (CC) and activities for the consortium. There are a total of 3 staff members the CC: Project Manager, Training Coordinator and Administrator. We have 26 research projects and over 500 members, we coordinate conferences, workshops and training. We also work closely with our funders, industry, and many other stakeholders.
Describe a typical day at work/research
R/ Most of our activities are executed via email and teleconferecning, so communication and scheduling is key.
